The Wedding Cake

This was the first thing we saw when walking into Arlington Hall.

I didn’t actually get to try the cake, and I didn’t get to ask if it came from Dallas Affairs either. I’ll assume it did because it looked perfect.

This place has to be the perfect spot for a reception in Dallas.

This is a shot of the bride just before she lined up to walk down the aisle. It was one of those times where nobody in the room (other than me) was camera conscious in any way.

This is from the wedding Chris and I did on Saturday night. I’ll post up a few more later, but I really like the way this one turned out.

Vivian

Last Sunday during a short break from the rain I met Vivian and her parents (her Dad was my roommate in college) at the Arboretum. She had been in a wedding and was promised she could play in the water in her flower girl dress as a reward for being in the wedding.

We had a good time and we managed to get out before the rain started up again - just in time to stop at Barbec’s for brunch. I can think of worse jobs.

Sonya Renée Jewelry

I recently had the chance to do some product photography for Sonya Renée Jewelry. This is a little bit outside the norm for me, but it was a lot of fun to do and I hope to work with them again in the future. All of the jewelry is hand-made and they have been featured on Daily Candy (which my wife tells me is very cool). Here are a few of the samples. The attention to detail in these makes for great photographs.
