My interest in photography began with a 35mm AF Minolta Talker camera I received for Christmas in 1985. Over the years I maintained a sporadic interest in film and digital photography. It was the birth of my son, however,  that finally inspired me to commit to learning the craft of photography.

I prefer candid, journalistic style images, but I understand the need for a simple group shot on occasion. Whenever possible, I like to work outside with available light.
