The Ward Family
November 16, 2008
I’m finally catching up after a few busy weeks, so I’ve been woefully, shamefully behind on posting preview pictures for the past few sessions. This is the second time I’ve had a chance to take pictures for this family, and they’ve all done great both times. Both kids kept me busy, and I think you can see a lot of their personalities in these pictures.
I ended up finishing the entire session this weekend, so here is the link to the full slideshow.
Enjoy!
Trent
November 8, 2008
Last week I had the chance to take 2-year pictures for Trent and his family. This is the second time I’ve taken pictures of Trent, and both times he’s been great. Thanks to Trent’s family for having me out again (especially since it meant Trent’s Dad missed part of the Michigan game to be there).
There are a few samples below and here’s a link to the full slideshow.
Brennan and Kieran
October 28, 2008
As much as I love the Arboretum, it’s nice to change things up every now and then. This weekend I got to take pictures for two girls who are very nearly the same age as my boys. Both of them did great, and I’m plugging away to try to get through all of the images from the session. For now, here are a couple of samples from the day.
I’ll post a link to the full slideshow as soon as it’s ready [Update: Here's the link.]. Enjoy!
CeeCee at 2
October 5, 2008
After a nice long break to get used to having another baby in the house, it’s time to get back to business. This is my favorite time of the year, so I was happy to have a chance to meet up with CeeCee and her parents out at the Arboretum. I’ve taken pictures of CeeCee before, and I recently had a chance to take pictures of her cousin, Addie.
Once again, CeeCee and her parents did great. It’s always fun to see repeat clients after a while to see how they’ve changed. Here are a couple of preview images from the day. I’ll update the post with a link to the full slideshow once it’s ready. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Full slideshow posted.
Addie
July 20, 2008
Today I got to take pictures of Addie. I met Addie and her parents last year while taking pictures at a family reunion. She did really well - even in the brutal July heat - and had a lot of fun playing anywhere in the Arboretum with water. Thanks to Addie and her parents for having me out to take pictures.
Here are a few samples from today. I’ll post a link to the slideshow as soon as I have it ready.

Kate and Alli
July 16, 2008
Last weekend I had the chance to take pictures of 1-year old twins, Kate and Alli. In the summer. In Texas. Needless to say I was a bit worried. They were troopers, and held out for over an hour before the heat finally got the better of them (they’re tougher than I am). Considering their age and the heat, I think they did great.
Here are a couple of sample images from the day. Enjoy!
UPDATE: Here’s a link to the slideshow.
Keira

This weekend I got to take pictures for some friends from my old job. Their new daughter, Keira, has the bluest eyes I have ever seen.
Here are a couple of samples:

Nicole
December 15, 2007
I am constantly amazed at how many nice people I have met since I started this whole thing. Today I got to meet yet another really great family, including their baby girl, Nicole. We spent a solid two hours trying to coax a smile out of her. We never got the “perfect” smile, but we did end up with some great “serious” shots.
This is one of my favorites.
Trent
October 14, 2007
This Saturday I had a session with Trent and his parents at a place called Flippen Park. Ironically, this is where my wife hard her bridal portraits done.
We spent about an hour letting Trent explore the area around the pool and the gazebo. He did great the entire time. Here are a few of my favorites.

Riley at One
October 14, 2007
Last week, in the humidity and rain, I had my third session with Riley and her parents. We learned that she doesn’t care for pumpkins, but isn’t bothered by rain one bit.
Here are a couple of samples we managed to get when it wasn’t raining.
